Nickel Overview

Nickel is a lightweight server-side plugin for BeamMP focused on player management and moderation. It’s designed to be simple to set up and run - a great choice if you want solid administration tools without the full complexity of Cobalt Essentials.

What Nickel Provides

Nickel is made up of two components - the core plugin and an optional interface:

• Nickel Core - the server-side plugin handling player management, moderation, roles, and database persistence.
• Nickel-Interface - an optional client-side GUI that gives admins an in-game panel for moderation actions. Installed separately alongside the core plugin.

Core features:

• Custom role & permission system - define roles and control exactly what each can do.
• Player moderation - kick, ban, and mute commands from chat or the server console.
• Whitelist management - lock your server to approved players with simple add/remove commands.
• Discord webhook integration - post join/leave events and moderation actions to a Discord channel.
• Database support - choose between SQLite (default) or MySQL for persistent player data.
• Auto-update - Nickel updates itself automatically when a new version is released.
