Getting Started with BeamMP
Welcome to Vyper Hosting’s BeamMP knowledgebase. This is your starting point for everything related to hosting a BeamMP multiplayer server. Whether you’ve just ordered a plan or you’re exploring what’s possible, this guide walks you through the core setup steps.
What is BeamMP?
Section titled “What is BeamMP?”BeamMP is a free multiplayer mod for BeamNG.Drive. It lets you host a dedicated server so that you and your friends (or the public) can drive together on any map with any vehicles and mods you choose. Vyper Hosting manages the server, networking, and hardware - you just configure and play.
First-Time Setup
Section titled “First-Time Setup”-
Obtain a Server Key
Every BeamMP server that appears on the public server list needs a unique authentication key from the BeamMP Keymaster. See Adding a Server Key.

Configure Your Server
Head to the Startup tab in your Server Panel and fill in your key, server name, description, map, and car limit per player. See Startup Configuration.

Start Your Server
Hit Start on the Console tab. Within a few seconds you should see:
[INFO] ALL SYSTEMS STARTED SUCCESSFULLY, EVERYTHING IS OKAY -
Install Mods (Optional)
Open the Mods tab in your panel to browse and install client mods, maps, and server plugins with one click - no manual uploads required. See Using the Mod Installer.

Share Connection Details
Give your players your server IP and port from the Console tab, or let them find you on the public server browser. See Connecting to Your Server.
