Updating Your Server

Keeping your BeamMP server up to date ensures compatibility with the latest BeamMP launcher versions and gives you access to performance improvements and bug fixes.

New to Vyper Hosting?

BeamMP updates automatically on restart - just hit Restart in the Console tab of your game panel and you’re on the latest version. Get a BeamMP server on our website.

Note

This process does not affect your mods, plugins, or configuration. Your Resources/ folder and ServerConfig.toml are preserved. We still recommend taking a backup before a major update as a precaution.

How to Update

1. Log in to your Vyper Hosting panel.
2. Select your BeamMP server.
3. Go to the Console tab.
4. Click Restart.

Your server automatically pulls the latest BeamMP version on startup.

Keeping Plugins Updated

After updating the server binary, also check your plugins for updates:

• Via Mod Installer - open the Mods tab in your panel, go to Installed, and click Update on any plugin with an available update.
• Manually - download the latest version of the plugin and re-upload it to Resources/Server/.

If Something Breaks After an Update

1. Check the Console tab for errors.
2. If a plugin is erroring, rename it to .disabled temporarily to isolate the cause.
3. Contact Vyper Hosting support via the billing panel if you need help.
