Installing server software

Vyper Hosting offer a range of server softwares you can one click install using, they are split into multiple categories: Recommended, Established, Experimental and Miscellaneous.

Note

Certain software only have a single build, therefor build selections may not show.

Installing the software

1. Firstly you need to select which software you want to use.
2. Select which Minecraft version you wish to use.
3. Choose the build that you would like to use also.
4. Once you have got to this stage, there should be two options.
   • Erase and Install - This will delete all files on your server and then reinstall with your selected version.
   • Install - This will just reinstall the base server software to your selected version, it should not delete any data but it is recommended to make a backup anyway.

Custom Software

1. Upload a server jar file to the server, either using File Manager or SFTP.
2. Rename the server jar to server.jar
